FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer for production of boron- titanium semifinished product has body, current-conducting bath, anodes, cathodes connected with d.c. and a.c. sources through busbars and current leads. Anodes are located in pairs along opposite sides of bath connected with a.c. source. Cathodes are made flat of titanium and installed in spaces between paired anodes at angle of 0 to 60 deg. to bath longitudinal axis. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
