FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining protein contents by using diuretic method and test with sulfasalycilic acid, as well as urea nitrogen, creatinine, phosphorus and potassium contents in urine samples taken in prescribed time points in the state of rest and after being exposed to physical and saluretic loads. The so obtained data are subjected to computer analysis, the results of which are used to make conclusions whether there are pathologic changes present in kidneys. In the process of examination of 500 patients with proved diagnosis 90% specificity and sensitivity were reached, supported by morphologic comparisons carried out in laboratory. The method is non-invasive. Biomaterial can be collected in different geographic points and its analysis and computer processing are performable in large diagnostic centers, regarding the possibility of carrying out the biochemical examination of the urine 5-7 days later after its having been collected, even if the samples were kept in domestic refrigerator.
