FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, specifically to recombinant production of fused proteins of Roundabout 2 receptor (hereinafter – ROBO2); it can be used in medicine for the treatment of a kidney disease. Fused ROBO2-Fc proteins contain Fc domain and part of an extracellular ROBO2 domain consisting of two immunoglobulin-like domains (Ig1 and Ig2) and two intradomain linkers (Ig1-Ig2 linker and Ig2-Ig3 linker), while the specified protein is deprived of three repeats of a fibronectin III type.
EFFECT: invention allows for obtainment of recombinant ROBO2-Fc proteins, which are capable of binding to slit guidance ligand SLIT2 and inhibiting ROBO2-dependent activity of SLIT2.
