FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transformer with smooth adjustment of voltage has magnetic core, immobile windings, mobile short-circuited winding produced from solid superconductive material and placed into cryostat with cooling liquid having temperature below one critical for superconductive material. Section of short- circuited winding is calculated by certain formula. Cryostat of transformer can be made mobile and immobile. Either mobile or immobile windings or all windings are placed together inside cryostat to obtain small volume. EFFECT: ensured smoothness of voltage adjustment. 6 cl, 8 dwg
