FIELD: weeding and loosening of soil. SUBSTANCE: hand hack is a sectional rectangular frame consisting of two parts. The first part is an upper base with a U-shaped handle whose opposite ends have two cylindrical pins. The second part has the form of U-shaped blade with holes at the ends and is installed on the pins of the upper base. To improve the operating characteristics, the upper corners of the blade at the side of the handle are chamfered to the hole centers. The chamfer angle is 12-30 deg while the handle is inclined at 55-65 deg to the upper base. For self-sharpening in operation, the blade is made of a bimetal. The blade is self-sharpened on both sides outward and the sharpening angle varies from 5 to 15 deg. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 2 dwg
