SUBSTANCE: subsurface cultivator-scythe comprises a blade 1 with a cutting part, a shaft 3, the tension bolts 4. The subsurface cultivator-scythe comprises a bracket 2 with two rectangular protrusions-latches 7 to retain the blade on the shaft, and the handle mounted on the shaft. The blade has a stiffening rib 6 located perpendicular to its plane and made expanding towards the bracket of the end of the cutting part. The working end of the blade is bevel-edged at an angle of 30°-80° relative to its cutting part.

EFFECT: reduced labour intensity and improved performance of operation, extended scope of application of the device.
