FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of tubular filter elements. Method comprises forming cylindrical gas-permeable workpiece from metal powder, sintering, creation of selective layers on surface of workpiece by alternating operations of application of layers of paste, which consists of powder and binding additive, by means of vertically moving draw plate and receiving cone-shaped device symmetrically located in upper part of draw plate, and subsequent sintering. Nickel powder is used as a metal powder in the paste composition, which is subjected to thermal stabilization for 1 to 2 hours at temperature of 200 to 400 °C in reducing medium. Layers of the paste are applied on the surface of the workpiece using draw plates of specified diameters, providing formation of the first layer of paste with thickness of 0.5–1.5 mm, and of the second and subsequent layers from 0.1 to 1.5 mm. Sintering of paste layers is carried out in reducing medium for 5 to 45 minutes at 750 to 1,000 °C.
EFFECT: efficient trapping of aerosol particles and reduced resistance to gas flow.
