FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: motor-in-wheel has electric drive consisting of variable- voltage source and electric motor. Armature with magnetic circuit and electric magnets is secured on axle. Inductor with magnetic circuit and permanent magnets is secured on rim. Distributing commutator formed by plates arranged over circumference is secured on armature. Current collectors with brushes are mounted on inductor. Introduced additionally are at least one induction current collector mounted on inductor which has brush and at least one circular contact secured on armature. Plates are connected with coils of electromagnets. Available are series of design versions of motor-in-wheel which can be used for creating environmentally-oriented reliable and economical vehicles.
