FIELD: glassmaking industry. SUBSTANCE: for manufacture of optical elements glass with refractive index n₁ in a thermoplastic state is forced into one or several cylindrical ducts with a diameter within 0.3 to 0.5 mm made of material non-wettable by glass, for example, graphite. A flat sintered surface of glass separation with refractory index n₁ and n₂ (n₁ is not equal to n₂) is preliminarily created in the duct perpendicularly to the duct axis, and the glass wall layer is secured on the duct walls, in the process of glass forcing temperature T_o is maintained in the duct, at which viscosity of the first and second glass are equal, and glass melt is delivered to the duct due to pressure differential between the duct inlet and outlet.
