FIELD: non- ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for dismantling electrolytic baths includes loosening blooms 1, 2 from heart 3 using electrical current through a pair of opposite blooms 1, 2 and additional conductor 4 followed by removing blooms 1, 2 and filling 3. Additional conductor 4 is installed beneath bottom 5 of electrolytic bath 6 providing incoming current through it and through blooms 1, 2, or over heart 3, providing current in the same direction. Pair of opposite blooms 1, 2 and additional conductor 4 may be brought on the single electric circuit in series, or in parallel. EFFECT: highly effective dismantling. 2 cl, 4 dwg
