SUBSTANCE: method for dismantling aluminum electrolyzer cathode comprising a bath, brick pedestal, graphite blocks with hard coating on free surfaces, and steel block-rods, includes formation of blast holes of contour blasting and loosening on the side of bath bottom between blooms in the direction of normal to both bottom, placing blasting charges at the level between the blooms and free surface of the graphite blocks, and charge demolition. Before demolition the bath may be turned out. Blast holes may be formed in the process of bath mounting in the form of insertion pieces. EFFECT: easy dismantling. 3 cl, 2 dwg
