FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: bridge-type passing on permafrost has access bank with side and river slopes positioned on the ground of base 3. Access part of the bank has lower tier 1 and upper one 2. In plane the lower tier has curvilinear convex shape. The upper tier has base area 4 and laid banks 5. The bridge has span abutments comprising abutment body 7 and abutment foundation. The abutment foundation is made in the form of union surface structure stacked on the lower tier and having carrier plate type member 8 and thermal insulating member 9. Surface structure is led in river banks 10 and broadened in the direction of river bed on the value of l equal to structure height. Cross dimension of the lower tier in the cross section beginning from lengthwise axis of the bridge through back face of the abutment is b1≥ 2mh. The lower tier is taken out from the front face of the abutment as to lengthwise direction to river bed on the value of b2≥ mh, with side and river banks of the upper tier having slope equal to (1:4) to (1: 7). A cut of deep equal to height of the upper tier and b3 width equal to that of span structure is made in the upper tier directly over the span structure. EFFECT: decreased cost of the foundation, decreased man-hours, decreased time limits to construct the structure. 8 dwg
