Abstract RU 2219341 C1

FIELD: mining industry, technology of underground development of coal formations. SUBSTANCE: process of development of thick gently dipping coal formations includes development of formation by excavation columns with division of formation into upper layer, lower ( incision ) layer and interlayer coal bank. Upper layer is developed by chambercolumn development system with division of roof into coal pillars left in worked-out space with secured safe keeping of critical area of formation and crushed in uncontrolled part of developed space. Incision layer is developed with lag from face of upper layer over recess of interchamber pillars by value not less than width of guarded working critical area. Extraction galleries can be run over lower layer and should be connected to galleries of upper layer. Extraction field is divided into blocks. Cargo coal flows can be formed over lower layer and back headings should be run over upper layer with organization of winces and ventilation holdings on boundaries of extraction blocks.
