FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method for reconstruction of flooded open pits includes overburden mining with application of drilling and blasting operations for rock breaking. Draining brines coming to open pit bottom are partially pumped out of pit. Part of overburden is transported to external dumps and argillaceous rocks of overburden are filled into worked-out space to bottom of flooded open pit. Volume of rocks filled into internal dump should be large enough to overlap water-bearing collector through the calculated height. Further mining of overburden is carried out under protection of filled curtain. After construction of impervious curtain, internal dump rocks are transported beyond its outline and reconstruction of open pin is continued. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
