METHOD OF STORING AND STORAGE OF SALINE ROCKS IN PERMAFROST REGIONS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: ecologically safe storing and storage of saline rocks under permafrost conditions. SUBSTANCE: method includes planning of located of dump area in fracture zone with high tectonic disturbances of mass of permafrost rocks; formation of draining base of dump by removal within use the selected area of hardly filtering soil-vegetable layer; formation within selected area of closed water-tight dump of argillaceous nonsaline overburden rocks with subsequent additional loading with more hard nonsaline overburden rocks. Then saline rocks are stored inside closed contour of water-tight dump to height not exceeding the upper dump elevation from nonsaline overburden rocks. EFFECT: higher efficiency of environmental control due to prevention of spreading of mineralized contaminants from water and wind erosion of dump. 2 dwg
