FIELD: optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has prism 2 with entrance face 19. Radiation source 8 is disposed in front of the face. Subject face 18 is used for placing volumetric structure 22 tested. Device also has exit face 17, objective 5, photoconverter 9 and registrar. Prism 2 has additional face 20 covered with light-absorbing coating 21. Photoconverter is made of two position-sensitive elements 7 at least. There is flat mirrors system 3 between the prism and objective 5. Each mirror is connected optically with corresponding position-sensitive element. Unit for controlling exposure is introduced into the device. Angle of prism 2 is defined properties of material of the prism as well as necessity of providing condition of complete internal reflection. According to the other type of manufacture, the prism is made of fiber item where optical fibers are put regularly. In this case entrance and exit faces match. EFFECT: improved precision.
