SUBSTANCE: device for cutting quick-frozen food products, particularly fish, in the form of rectangular briquettes or slabs, into bars comprises a table for moving rectangular briquettes over the table-top by transporting means, parallel band saws, hold-downs interacting with the upper side of rectangular briquettes and/or bars and, a unit fitted with nozzles for application of ground food product. The band saws can move upward from the table and are disposed in the stream of compressed air discharged by nozzles and directed at the transportation surface located before the saws in the direction of transport.
