FIELD: medical engineering; operative dentistry. SUBSTANCE: device has coaxial shank 2 and head 1 made in the form of sleeve 3 with conic bottom 4, smooth stopping-in bevel 8 and cavity 5. Internal surface of sleeve 3 has working lining 6 covering it from base 7 of bottom 4 to smooth stopping in bevel 8. To discharge heat from the zone of tooth preparation, air flows are formed through cavity 5 of sleeve 3 by means of windows 10 with air intake ledges near base 7 of conic bottom 4 and windows in the wall of sleeve 3 made at the altitude of one half of working lining 6 and located relative to windows 10 in conic bottom 4 in different vertical planes.
