FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. An endodontic file contains an elastomeric clamp and, at least, the central longitudinal thread, which is spirally wound on a wire and, at least, partially surrounds the thread. The elastomeric clamp partially covers the spirally wound wire near its first end and has an external diameter, slightly larger than the internal diameter of a dental instrument shank. When installed into the shank it is supported only due to the force of friction.
EFFECT: improvement of the construction.
