SUBSTANCE: fuel gauge has housing 1 with mechanism kinematically linked with pointer 16 fitted on scale 17 closed with transparent insert 18, float 3 provided with circular permanent magnet 20 and magnetic circuit 22 which is movably located on fins 21 of casing 2 and is connected via slit with rigid helical band 10 mounted rotatably on trunnions 11 and 12; pointer 16 is connected to one trunnion. Besides that, housing 1 of instrument is hermetically isolated from tank; lower portion of casing 2 is provided with drain connection. EFFECT: improved structural and operational properties. 3 dwg
