FIELD: production of rear alkali metal salts. SUBSTANCE: method involves sorbing rubidium from solutions of complicated chemical composition on ferrocyanide sorbent; treating sorbent in two stages to extract Rb into solution. At the first stage sorbent is treated by chloride solved in fluoric organic solvent, with fluorated liquids being used as fluoric organic solvent. At the second stage sorbent is treated with concentrated aqueous solution of monoatomic alcohols, with ethyl alcohol with 85-96% concentration or isopropyl alcohol with 80-88% concentration being used as nonatomic alcohols. Rubidium chloride is obtained by evaporating solution followed by distillation of alcohols for subsequent recovery. EFFECT: increased efficiency of method. 3 cl, 1 tbl
