FIELD: construction of hydraulic structures. SUBSTANCE: sleetproof offshore platform consists of sleetproof base having body 1 with two sleetproof supports 4 and 5 rising over water. Located on supports 4 and 5 are guides 6-9 with cantilever beams 10 and 11 movable horizontally between them. Cantilever beams have fork-like slots. Sleetproof platform is delivered to operation site during ice-free period, sunk to bottom 2 and secured to bottom by means of piles. During ice-free period, self-elevating floating drilling unit is delivered to operation site and brought between sleetproof supports 4 and 5. Supporting columns are lowered, driven in bottom and body of self-elevating drilling unit is raised above water. Then, cantilever beams 10 and 11 with fork-like slots are brought to under body 17 of drilling unit, and body 17 is lowered onto cantilever beams. In this case, decks of drilling unit and sleetproof supports coincide. Derric of drilling unit is transferred onto deck of sleetproof support, and drilling is started. Upon completion of drilling, operation is reversed. Drilling unit is transferred to some other operation site, and sleetproof base remains as operation platform. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 dwg
