FIELD: hydraulic engineering building. SUBSTANCE: method is implemented using a device, having ice-proof supports 2 secured to sea bed, installed one opposite another. Upper parts of supports 2 being hot flooded have extendable cantilever beams 3, which are installed inside the space between supports by their extending or turning around axle of support 2 using jack so to enable horizontal moving as related to supports 2. During ice free season, self-lifting floated platform 5 provided with process equipment is inserted between ice-proof supports 2. Bearing columns 6 are lowered to water area bed, vessel of platform 5 is lifted over water. Extendable beams 3 are moved and the platform is lowered on them. Bearing columns of the platform are moved up, then the platform is operated all year through in ice conditions. EFFECT: invention proposed allows one to erect ice-proof platform on shallow shelf without special floating aids of large weight capacity. 6 dwg
