FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: soil slitter comprises a shank of two sideplates with cutting edges. The shank has chamfers on both sides of the sideplates and grooves with deposited material whose wear-resistance is higher than that of the material of said shank. Each groove on the sideplate has the form of an angular recess on the opposite side from the chamfer and is disposed on a line congruent with the cutting edges. Sideplates are offset from one another by the width of the groove and interconnected with one another by their mirror-image sides. A chisel on the lower portion of the shank has the form of a rod fixed in an inclined hole inside the shank. The middle portion of the shank is convex in the form of two mating curvilinear surfaces of sideplates forming a through hole whose front and back sections are provided with inlet support ring and outlet ring. Both rings have removable members. The removable member of the inlet support ring may have the form of a cylindrical cutter or of the head portion of a drainer.
