FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: steering mechanism with hydraulic servo has housing with lockring, piston with toothed rack arranged in housing and kinematically coupled with steering shaft, pitman arm shaft with toothed quadrant engaging with toothed rack and connected with adjuster made in form of eccentric bushing coupled with pitman arm shaft through bearing, and fixing member. It has compensator made in form of stop screw arranged in housing and thrusting against end face of pitman arm shaft by its end. Arranged in screw end face is end seal, and made in screw body is through channel. Fixing member is made in form of disk with central fixing hole located on. eccentric bushing for turning together with bushing. Made on disk are row of holes and row of recesses located over periphery and displaced relative to holes. Holes are recesses are made for engagement with holes in housing through attachment members. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of adjustment of steering mechanism with provision of axial adjustment of pitman arm shaft. 3 dwg
