FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: steering mechanism with hydraulic servo has housing with lockrings, piston with gear rack arranged in housing and kinematically coupled with steering shaft, and pitman arm shaft with toothed quadrant. Pitman arm shaft is connected with adjuster made in form of eccentric bushings coupled with pitman arm shaft through bearings, and fixing members made for engagement with cavities, if bent. Mechanism has fixing disk placed between eccentric bushings and lockings. Fixing members are located on fixing disks and are made in form of one or more projections engaging with slots located in end faces of housing and row of projections of smaller diameter made for engagement, when bent off, with cavities located in end faces of eccentric bushings nearest to one of smaller diameter projection at definite moment. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of adjustment of steering mechanism and reliability of operation of steering mechanism proper. 4 dwg
