FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: device of first design version has detachable housing which consists of housing proper 1 and cover 2. Housing 1 is secured on wheel hub. Sliding sleeve 4 is installed in housing slots for axial displacement and engagement with splined bushing 5 mounted on axle-shaft. Placed inside housing is screw 9 connected with nut 10. Nut is installed for travel along inner splines of sliding sleeve 4. Hub engagement spring 18 is arranged outside sliding sleeve 4. Spring 18 thrusts with its one end against inner end face 20 of cover 2 and with its other end, against end face of washer 21. Lugs of washer arranged in slots 23 of sliding sleeve 4 thrust against end face 24 of sleeve and against end faces 25 of outer splines of nut 10. Placed inside sliding sleeve 4 is hub disengagement spring 19 which thrusts by its one end against end face 26 of circular groove made in sliding sleeve and by other end, against end face of nut in spline area.
