FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: sealing unit has cylinder housing, rod-piston, seal, outer bushing, and stop flange interconnected by a thread, and also fastening members constructed as a stud-bolts, nuts and intermediate threaded bushing. The pressing bushing has the fixing yoke. When the cylinder of steam-air hummer is in operation the seal is wear out and change of the seal is required. To change the seal the pressing bushing moves over the thread of the stop flange. The stud-bolt joint is lengthened using intermediate threaded bushing to allow the flange and pressing bushing to be lowered down so that to permit the seal to be fully removed from the cylinder. The locking yoke serves for holding the sealing unit on the rod-piston. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
