FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: heater has rotor 1 positioned in chamber 2, which has front wall 5 with inlet opening 6 axially aligned with rotor 1 and outlet opening 7 adjoining to chamber side wall. Chamber has side walls 3 with width making 2.0-2.5 of rotor width. Partition wall 8 is positioned in chamber 2 in parallel with end wall 4. Height of partition wall 8 is equal to that of chamber 2, width is at least 1.5 of rotor diameter. Rotor 1 may be positioned in chamber 2 between partition wall 8 and front wall 5 or between end wall 4 and partition wall 8. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
