FIELD: biological cleaning of sewage. SUBSTANCE: according to first version, dispersing member 1 of aerator has hole 15 in its center portion which is made in form of port for suction of water. Half of maximum width "d" over the horizontal line of transversal section 2 of circular dispersing member 1 ranges from 0.125 to 0.25 of average diameter "D" of circular dispersing member 1 for more effective suction of water and obtaining ascending water-and-air flow which widens from circular dispersing member 1. According to another version, horizontal disk member 16 is embraced over perimeter by circular dispersing member 1. Thus, intensive suction of water is obtained in first version through hole 15 at retained widening water-and- air cone above external boundary of circular dispersing member 1 and creating, as a result, wide band of aeration of sewage in aerotank above aerator. According to second version, circular dispersing member 1 embracing member 16 forms wide aeration band above aerator and simultaneously performs function of pressure drop stabilizer on porous wall of horizontal disk-type dispersing member 16 at increased rate of flow of air through it. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
