FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method of measurement of contact area of two bodies lies in placement of conductive layer between them, in bringing bodies in contact and in determination of contact area by change of electric resistance in contact zone. Conductive rubber is used as conductive layer. Bodies are pressed with predetermined force and result is corrected with allowance for this force. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement of contact area thanks to enhanced sensitivity with simultaneous simplification. 1 dwg
