FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: float-type differential pressure has wide and narrow communicating vessels 1 and 2, respectively, filled with working liquid 3 and float 4 arranged in wide vessel. Vessels 1 and 2 communicate with pressure P1 and P2 through pipes 5 and 6 and valves 7 and 8 and are intercommunicated through equalizing valve 9. Gauge has also ohmmeter 10. Float movement transducer is made in form of resilient thread 11 of current-carrying rubber placed in insulating sheath 12 made of resilient flexible material (rubber or latex). Bent part of loop with end 13 is rigidly secured to upper base 14 of float 4 without electric contact of end 13 with base 14 of float 4. Insulation is provided by insulating gasket 15 and washer 16. Other part of loop of thread 11 is rigidly connected with upper base 17 of wide vessel 1. Free ends 20 and 21 of thread 11 are passed through base of wide vessel by means of sealing insulators in form of gasket 18 and washer 19. Thread free ends are connected to inputs of ohmmeter 10.
