FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device for dimensionality measurement has generator, transformer converter of linear movements composed of standard of straight line in the form of string excited by generator and carriage with measurement windings and signal processing unit including indication unit. Device is fitted with mechanism for string pulling with transducer of tension force, sine-cosine rotary transformer, transducer of longitudinal movement of carriage. Signal processing unit incorporates storage, unit of thermal compensation of parameters of measurement windings, unit of correction of orthogonality of axes of measurement windings and adder. Measurement windings are mounted axially to string. Generator is connected to inputs of sine-cosine rotary transformer and adder. Leads of measurement windings are connected to input of unit of thermal compensation and of unit of correction of orthogonality. Storage is coupled to out of transducer of longitudinal movements of carriage. Outputs of sine-cosine rotary transformer, storage and unit of correction of orthogonality are linked to proper inputs of adder and outputs of transducer of longitudinal movements, adder, transducer of tension force and sine-cosine rotary transformer are connected to indication unit. Apart from this mechanism for string pulling is manufactured in the form of two units designed for attachment to checked part.
