FIELD: metal pressure forming. SUBSTANCE: pressing effort in chamber-type press is being provided by gaseous or liquid medium pressure, being transmitted directly on a working member such as diaphragm or through an intermediate member such as oil chamber. In order to provide mechanical reliability of the elastic member due to lowered operational dynamic deformations and voltage stresses, a time parameter, determining a release of the pressing effort (gaseous or liquid medium pressure) should be in a range 0,54≅t/T1≅10, where t time period of release of the pressing effort; T1 oscillation period of the elastic member at first resonance frequency.
