DIE SET FOR DRAWING BOX-SHAPED PARTS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: plastic metal working, namely sheet forming by elastic medium, mainly deep drawing of box-shaped parts. SUBSTANCE: die set includes elastic die, punch and holder with working opening. Punch has grooves in its lateral sides for placing inserts with annular recess on working surface. Joining surfaces of said grooves and inserts are inclined relative to symmetry axis of punch. Stripping of ready article out of punch is realized by means of holder moving upwards. When inserts hold in part by means of annular recesses move in said grooves inclined surfaces of grooves and inserts disengage. When inserts are outside grooves they are easily released of parts and fall on surface of punch. Die set provides possibility of making box-shaped parts with incisions and rigidity ribs on lateral surfaces. EFFECT: enlarged using range of die set. 2 cl, 5 dwg
