FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device for extinguishing fire of flowing well has clamp 1 with pins 2 which is rigidly installed on casing 3 on wellhead. Hinged to pins 2 are links 5 of unit for moving baffle plate 6. Links hinged with pins 7 form parallel link mechanism. Baffle plate is made in form of plane 8 with sides 9 over entire perimeter and has unit moving relative clamp 1 in form of pulling cable 11 with flexible members built in cables. Rigidly connected to clamp 1 is stop 13 made in form of adjustable screws 14. Motion of plate 6 is stopped by stop 13 in its extreme upper position. Prior to mounting the device, installed near wellhead over its perimeter are device for supply into oil of fire extinguishing matter, e.g. water supplying carriages 15 which are used for water spraying in work zone to cool and to prevent inflammation of personnel and equipment.
