FIELD: catalytic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: catalyst is prepared from mixture consisting of aluminium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and silica gel at the molar ratio of silicon oxide and aluminium oxide 7-10, potassium oxide and silicon oxide 0.25-0.35, water and potassium oxide 20-50. Silica gel is used at particle size 0.1-10 mcm. Then hydrothermal crystallization in autoclave is carried out at 100-150 C for 48-80 h. During the second part of crystallization time the mixture is stirred. Prepared zeolite shows 100% of crystallinity. To prepare catalyst zeolite L is impregnated with chloroplatinic acid solution, dried and calcined. Platinum content in catalyst is 0.8% EFFECT: improved method of zeolite preparing. 1 tbl
