FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: method of check of the ship's stability consists in measuring the rolling period and calculating the metacentric height. For calculating the metacentric height, the following values shall be measured: draft fore and draft aft, apparent wave period, relative bearing, ship's speed in irregular waves, apparent wind velocity, air temperature and sea water temperature.
