FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: allyl acetate is used as reagent 1, formaldehyde being used as reagent 2. Reaction is carried out in the medium of 1,2-dichlorethane, 5-20 sulfuric acid being used as catalyst. The process takes place at 60-65 C, molar ratio of allyl acetate and formaldehyde is 1:1, volume ratio of allyl acetate and 1,2-dichlorethane being 2: 1-1: 2. Desired product having boiling point 64-70 C/10 mm Hg is prepared by yield 30-62 Conversion is up to 100 EFFECT: increases yield of desired product. 1 tbl
