FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method for driving tunnels in unstable water-saturated rocks includes drilling of holes of remote control with simultaneous sampling of core for control of dimensions of ice-ground guard. Temperature- sensitive elements are installed in holes and drilled with water. Rows of holes of remote control are drilled down the breast in fan-shaped manner and with inclination. Then, drilled successively over tunnel perimeter in breast with inclination are holes and perforated casings are installed in them. Coaxially introduced into perforated casings are internal perforated pipes with closed lower end. In course of injection into internal perforated pipes of heat carrier, thawing and washing out of rock with water, parameters of formed hollow are controlled by temperature- sensitive elements on temperature field of ice-ground guard in front of face. After injection of filling material which hardens at subzero temperatures, rocks are excavated. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
