METHOD OF INCLINED TUNNELS CONSTRUCTION IN WEAK WATER-SATURATED SOILS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E21D9/00 E21D1/12

Abstract RU 2739880 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to construction of inclined tunnels in weak water-saturated soils at construction of metro stations and mining industry during mine shafts driving in unstable and flooded rocks. In order to implement the method of inclined tunnels construction in weak water-saturated soils, vertical wells are drilled at required depth along the tunnel contour. Then at design elevations in area of passage of tunnel in drilled wells there performed is formation of soil-cement massif based on soil-cement piles. Then, inclined wells are drilled in the array along the inclined tunnel contour and as close as possible to the outer surface of the inclined tunnel diameter. Freezing columns are installed in inclined wells and freezing of soil-cement mass layer is performed, which provides formation of combined anti-filtration enclosure along external diameter of inclined tunnel consisting of frozen soil-cement soil. At that, freezing process is performed only after complete hardening of soil-cement composition in soil-cement piles. Then, ground rocks are developed inside combined anti-filtration enclosure with simultaneous construction of lining of inclined tunnel.

EFFECT: technical result is increased mechanical strength and reliability of the anti-filtration enclosure, safe operation of the anti-filtration guard, reduction of energy consumption for freezing of soil rocks at creation of inclined tunnels, as well as reduction of volumes of soil destruction in process of freezing and settling of earth surface at thawing of soil after completion of works on construction of inclined tunnel.
