FIELD: designing of secondary power supplies. SUBSTANCE: inverter has first transistor VT1 connected through primary winding of transformer Tp and resistive current sensor in the form of resistor R3 to input leads. Input of transistor VT1 is shorted out by power circuit of transistor VT2 whose base circuit incorporates inductive element L used to maintain base current of transistor VT2 upon voltage drop across resistor R3. Transistor VT2 functions to keep transistor VT1 in conductive state while current through feedback circuit has not yet changed its polarity. EFFECT: improved reliability due to elimination of overcurrent in transistor VT1. 2 dwg
