FIELD: combustion. SUBSTANCE: fuel-air mixture is fed to the top part of the combustion chamber. The secondary air is fed at least as two flows of different flow rates. Vortex chamber 1 for combustion of fuel has burner 3 on one of the walls and nozzle unit 4 for supplying the secondary air along wall 2 at the bottom part of the chamber. Wall 2 is provided with the burner pointing in burner 3. Nozzle unit 4 is made up as at least two nozzles 5 and 6. The flow rate through nozzles 5 and 6 decreases with increasing the distance between the respective nozzle and wall 2 provided with burner 3. EFFECT: simplified method and improved design of the chamber. cl, dwg
