FIELD: burning of organic fuel and dust. SUBSTANCE: furnace has at least one burner 2 made in form of at least two passages 2a and 2δ located one above other for feeding the fuel-and-air mixture. Each passage is provided device 3(4) for regulation of fuel-and-air ratio which ensures such relationship of amount of air to amount of fuel in each passage that this ratio of overlying passage 2a always exceeds that of underlying passage 2δ.. Longitudinal axes of passages 2a and 2δ shall be so inclined that angle between longitudinal axis of passage 2a or 2δ and projection of this axis on wall of furnace for underlaying passage 2δ is less than that for overlying passages 2a. Furnace may be also provided with device 8 for feeding fuel of preset fraction composition to each passage. During operation of such furnace, three functional zones are formed in furnace space: ignition and active combustion zone, reduction and afterburning zones.
