FIELD: medicine, particularly, methods of functional diagnosis employed in gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes positioning two active electrodes on patient's extremities for epicutaneously recording of electric signals transmitted from internal organs, allowing these signals to pass through amplifier having bandwidth of 0.015 to 0.3 Hz and analog-digital converter, computing autocorrelation function, carrying out Fourier analysis, plotting spectrograms, recording electric signals during one hour both during fasting and following meals, and judging activity of stomach from spectral power of spectrogram peaks within bandwidth of 0.5 to 4.5 cycles/min and judging activity of small intestine in bandwidth of 8 to 12 cycles/min. Stenosis of pyloroduodenal zone should be diagnosed if gain in electrical activity of stomach is not accompanied by increase in electrical activity of small intestine after food intake. EFFECT: disclosed noninvasive method of electrophysiologic investigation of stenosis of gastroenteric tract causes no discomfort.
