METHOD OF DIAGNOSING POSTOPERATIVE STENOSES OF GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT IN EXPERIMENT Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61B5/05

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, namely to experimental gastroenterology. Method includes examination of electromyographic activity (EMA) of gastrointestinal tract. EMA is examined before operation by measuring amplitude and frequency parameters. After that, relaparotomy is performed and measurements of above-lying part of gastrointestinal tract at 1.0-1.5 cm distance from anastomosis are carried out. Contact electrodes are applied. If frequency of slow waves increases by 25% and more, and amplitude increases by 32% and more near above-lying part in comparison with parameters obtained before operation, and if frequency of slow waves decreases by 17% and more and amplitude decreases by 35% and more near underlying part in comparison with parameters obtained before operation, formation of postoperative stenosis at pre-clinical stage is stated.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy of postoperative stenosis diagnostics.
