FIELD: medicine, particularly, surgery. SUBSTANCE: this bandage includes two layers, that is, adsorbent layer and layer adjacent to the wound. Adsorbent layer is made of nonwoven fibrous fabric fabricated from natural and man-made antimicrobial fibers. Layer adjacent to wound may be made of either medical gauze or porous fabric based on synthetic fibers (knitted fabric based on polyether fibers or thermoplastic fabric based on polypropylene fibers). EFFECT: disclosed bandage possesses antimicrobial activity and readily absorbs wound matter, this bandage is permeable to steam and air and has excellent treatment-and-prophylactic characteristics. 1 tbl
