FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: bandage comprising a layer of hydrophilic permeable carbon-containing fabric is distinguished from currently known ones in that it is made of graphitized viscose fabric with a specific area of 3-4.5 m2/g. Possessing a low sorption ability, this fabric prevents changes in the composition of liquid discharge and precipitation of fibrin. Therefore, this bandage retains permeability for wound discharge and medicaments for a long time without interfering with aeration of the wound. EFFECT: higher curative efficiency and accelerated healing of infected and pyo-septic wounds.
