FIELD: machines to compact road base and pavement. SUBSTANCE: roller's cylinder has shell 1, with drive shaft 2 inside, with spline sections 3 being symmetric about one another. Two wave generators able to be moved are installed on the sections. Each generator comprises rolls 5 arranged at two diametrically opposite positions. The rolls are installed using bearings 6 on carriers 7 fixed on spline hubs 8. Hubs 8 are rested on nuts 9. Positions of the wave generators are displaced through 90 angle about one another.
