FIELD: building equipment. SUBSTANCE: roll of a runner has the shell 1, the drive shaft 2, rollers 13 end discs 15. The rollers 13 are turned one relative to another by 90 degrees, and they are displaced to edges of the shell 1. The end discs 15 are mounted on the shaft 2 in bearings 14. A diameter of the end discs 15 is being determined according to an inner diameter of the shell 1 in its non-deformed state and to a distance between the rollers 13 along their generatrices, being the most protruding. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of road building material compaction due to possibility of increased load of the roll. 1 cl, 4 dwg
